Drives
Electrical drive motor with frequency converter for conveyor belt controlled by the container contact switch at the tunnel infeed.
Transport arrangement
Horizontal loop conveyor in Stainless steel, Lateral guidance by means of vertical slats on both sides of the Horizontal conveyor belt.
Stainless Steel panel at the end of the cooling zone to separate the non-sterile area from the sterile area.
Control Devices
A central control panel with programmable logic controller (PLC) and Panel View MMI which can be connected to one 80 column dot matrix printer.
The operator friendly console provides the user to view on the monitor, the process/cycle in progress, view alarms, and also key in variable parameters for individual cycles using soft touch key pad.
Electrical Installation
Interlocking devices for temperature control and container accumulation at infeed /outfeed, overload protection and all safety gears are provided.
Drying Zone
For the Drying Zone the air taken from the room is prefiltered and aspirated by a blower through HEPA filter. Exhaust blower is provided underneath conveyor for vapour extraction.
Sterilizing Zone
The sterilizing zone mainly comprises resistance heating elements, HEPA filters and temperature regulating devices. Hot filtered air at approximately 300°C is recirculated in this zone which sweeps the containers from top to bottom. The equal pressure drop across the filters enables in creating an extremely even distribution of air circulation. This uniformly distributed hot air sterilize and depyrogenate the containers.
Cooling and Stabilizing zone
In this area (arrangement similar to drying zone) the containers are subjected to HEPA filtered air taken from the room or from the dedicated AHU. The air flow is profiled such a way that the glass temperature as it exited the sterilizing zone would be transitioned at a nearly linear rate. The exhaust blower below the conveyor belt extracts hot air and ejects to outside .
TUNNEL - OPTIONAL ITEMS
- Supply Air AHU system in Double Skin Modular construction with suitable HEPA filters. Alarm notification for supply air system non/malfunctioning.
Note: Supply Air AHU is not required in case of Air intake from Washing Area - Exhaust AHU system in Double Skin Modular construction with HEPA filters. Alarm notification for exhaust system non/malfunctioning will be provided.
- Thyrister Controls for Electric Heaters
- Diaphragm in S.S. 304 Construction suitable for wall panel cut-out (required only in case Brick Wall)
- Six Point Strip Chart Recorder with Duplex probes in lieu of single probes.
- Digital Differential Pressure Gauge with high & low pressure indication (in lieu of Std Differential Pressure Gauge – Analog Type)
- EC Blowers for UDF Systems with Auto operation to maintain pre-set Velocity and suitable arrangement in PLC with option to print data.
- VFD for Turbine Motor in Hot Zone with suitable arrangements in PLC for Auto Control.
